Jack Wolfskin is one of our many brands committed to more sustainable products and processes. They have been awarded leader status by the Fair Wear Foundation, the highest possible accolade, and have set a goal of obtaining 100% of their fabrics, and 75% of their components, from bluesign®-certified manufacturers by 2020. The bluesign® standard signifies safe textiles, environmentally friendly production and conscious use of resources, to ensure products are made in the most sustainable way possible.
And they don’t stop there. Jack Wolfskin is also dedicated to recycling wherever possible, taking plastic bottles out of our environment and turning them back into garments. Their Texapore Ecosphere jacket features a 100% recycled membrane, made from production scraps, and an outer shell made from 100% recycled PET bottles. Their latest Jack Wolfskin x National Trust collection features 100% PFC-free fabrics, to reflect the two organisations’ shared commitment to protecting our environment.
