Make the most of this half-term with our guide to the top five family bike rides in and around London. The half-term break has come around once again, and a week full of family activities is nearly upon us. The freedom from school is a great opportunity to get out on the bikes with the whole family for some cycling fun. Here are five family-friendly cycle adventures you can have in and around London.

Bushy and Richmond Royal Parks

Located south west of London, Richmond and Bushy Park are a must for those looking to escape the hectic streets of the city and seek some quiet with the family. A short journey from central London, Richmond and Bushy Royal Parks are 2500 and 1099 acres respectively and therefore offer a fantastic opportunity for a family cycling trip this half term. Their large size means there is plenty of space to roam around, ideal for those looking to teach their kids to ride for the first time, and those looking to take their children’s cycling up a notch.
